A financier in New York is sent on an all-expenses paid trip to the Caribbean to deliver a letter to a business contact. She is instructed to comport herself as an independent woman without financial concerns to prevent commercial rivals from recognizing her purpose. But she would eventually discover that she is being involved in an operation to smuggle illegal emeralds.
