Vicky believes Doctor Parker is responsible for her sister's death on the operating table and becomes a nurse so she can work at his side for a year. When a similar operation is successful, she is convinced that he let her sister die because she did not return his love. She confronts him with a gun, but hesitates and he takes the gun from her. He tells her that her sister actually died due to complications from illegal drugs she had taken. To get his help, Vicky agrees to marry a night club manager after the man who gave her sister the drugs meets justice.
