John Romita's Amazing Spider-Man Artisan Edition Volume Two is a treat for anyone who loves seeing comics craftsmanship at its most raw and immediate. The cover reproduces stunning black-and-white original artwork showing Spider-Man at center, surrounded on all sides by a gauntlet of foes — Doctor Octopus with his mechanical arms coiling at left, a winged Vulture diving from above, the massive Rhino charging at upper right, a snarling Scorpion, the Kingpin, and at least two more adversaries closing in across a giant web.
