Arthur - Une épopée celtique #6
This sixth volume of the Arthur series adapts the medieval Welsh tale of Gereint and Enid, one of the Three Romances from the Mabinogion. The story follows the knight Gereint as he marries the beautiful Enid, but his obsession with her leads to a crisis of honor and a journey of redemption through trials and battles. The album collects the complete narrative arc, rendered in the series' signature Celtic-inspired artwork and storytelling style.
Arthur - Une épopée celtique #6, published by Delcourt in 2003, features the story "Gereint et Enid" with writing by David Chauvel and art by Jérôme Lereculey, who also handled inking, while Jean-Luc Simon provided coloring. The cover, also by Jérôme Lereculey, presents a distinctive visual interpretation of the tale.
