Power Artist fights with The Art Critic and the art dealer, Daniel Boone, over possession of his creation, the sentient sculpture Used Band Aid in Space. Power Artist is waylaid by his nemesis, The Artist in Black, but when he develops temporary superpowers he stages a failed comeback attempt for possession of the sculpture. By this time, NYC artist Julian Schnabel intervenes and takes the sculpture to heaven for arbitration, where van Gogh makes a brief appearance. The conflict is resolved by Schnabel taking the sculpture to Tibet where it is a subject of meditation for zen monks.
