“...Can You Help Us... Can You Help Us...?”

Sam Glanzman's cover for this 1969 Charlton issue delivers an immediate jolt of battlefield tension — a figure lunges toward a tank wielding a lunge mine while a soldier shouts a desperate warning against a sky blazing with orange fire and smoke. The Iron Corporal feature continues here, and the dramatic cover framing makes clear that the stakes couldn't be higher for the men caught in this armored confrontation. A solid entry in Charlton's war lineup, priced at just 15 cents in its day.
