Ash Williams is surrounded and fighting dirty on this gritty Dynamite cover — he's got a chainsaw raised in one hand while pinning a decayed deadite to the ground with the other, blood streaking his arms as more shambling undead close in from behind. Stjepan Šejić brings a raw, visceral energy to every detail, from the rotting textures of the Deadites to the sheer desperation etched on Ash's face. If "The Long Road Home" arc has been building toward a brutal reckoning, issue #8's cover makes a compelling case that Ash is earning every hard mile.
