Ash finds himself in a fog-drenched Victorian alley, chainsaw hand raised and every nerve on edge, as the massive silhouette of a top-hatted figure looms ominously across the brick wall beside him — and a bloodied body lies sprawled on the cobblestones at his feet. The juxtaposition of Ash's modern, battered look against this gaslit, Jack the Ripper–evoking setting gives the cover an atmosphere that feels genuinely unsettling. It's a moody, well-composed image that promises Ash well out of his comfort zone and up against something darkly historical.
