Cullen Bunn and Larry Watts launch a fresh chapter of everyone's favorite chainsaw-handed S-Mart employee with this 2014 Dynamite series — and the cover by Gabriel Hardman makes the premise gloriously clear: Ash is in space. Hardman renders him in a spacesuit, floating against a massive planet, chainsaw revving on one hand and shotgun raised in the other, erupting from some kind of explosive burst that suggests the cosmos itself isn't ready for what just arrived. It's a confident, energetic opening image that sets a wonderfully absurd yet action-packed tone for wherever this series is headed.
