“Light in Dark, Part Six: See No Evil”

The six-issue "Light in Dark" arc reaches its conclusion with this 1995 DC series finale, and the cover by Phil Hester and Chip Wallace makes the stakes feel suitably grand — Argus himself surges forward against a backdrop of fire and crumbling cityscape, his distinctive eye-symbol emblem prominent on his chest and his expression fierce with determination. The tagline "The Searing Finale!" says it plainly, and the image of this dark-clad figure wreathed in flames and smoke delivers on that promise visually. Writer team Mark Wheatley and Allan Gross, with interior art by Luke McDonnell, bring their story to a close in "See No Evil," making this a satisfying wrap-up for fans who followed Argus from the start.
