Part three of five in Marvel's 2006 limited series finds the God of War at the center of a storm — literally. Travel Foreman and Derek Fridolfs deliver a striking cover where an armored Ares looms between crumbling columns amid lightning-split skies, flanked by a gleaming Greek soldier and a horned demonic figure brandishing weapons below. It's a vivid collision of myth and muscle that makes a strong case for this series as one of Marvel's more ambitious explorations of its Olympian corner.
