Archie vs. Predator II #3

The crossover that nobody saw coming keeps delivering the goods — issue three of five finds the fearsome Predator striking an unlikely pose front and center, flanked by a dark-haired Betty and a blonde Veronica in a winking homage to classic action-movie poster art, rendered here by Robert Hack. Diamond-shaped inset panels surround the trio, hinting at a masked figure armed with a gun, a getaway car, a squad of hunters, and what looks like a desperate struggle. Kelly Fitzpatrick's colors give the whole thing a moody, cinematic atmosphere that perfectly captures the wild tonal mashup de Campi and Hack are cooking up in 2019.
