Parts 1 and 2," Archie and Veronica find themselves on opposite sides of the world—Archie sent to Tokyo to deliver a mysterious package, while Veronica flies home from her spring break trip, both unaware of the other's journey. Written by Bill Golliher and illustrated by Stan Goldberg, with inks by Rudy Lapick, colors by Barry Grossman, and letters by Bill Yoshida, this 1998 adventure brings a touch of international flair to Riverdale. The cover by Dan DeCarlo and Alison Flood captures the cross-continental tension perfectly.
In "Tokyo Trauma! Parts 1 and 2," Veronica and Archie find themselves miles apart—she on a spring break trip to Tokyo, he back home missing her—until Jughead sends Archie to Japan with a mysterious package. As fate takes a twist, Veronica is also on her way back to Riverdale, unaware that Archie is already in Tokyo, setting up a collision of timing and heart.
In "Fair Play," Archie finds himself caught between Betty and Veronica, each determined to claim his free evening at the county fair—though not necessarily for the reasons he might expect. With playful rivalry and a dash of genuine connection, the two girls turn a simple night out into a spirited contest of charm and wit.
