Archie's Pals 'n' Gals #85

The Riverdale gang is living well on this Dan DeCarlo and Rudy Lapick cover, where Archie and Jughead sit at an elegantly set dinner table alongside Betty and Veronica — Ronnie apparently reluctant to pull a wishbone while musing that it's "so difficult to think of something to wish for." A suited butler attends in the background, adding a touch of Lodge-mansion luxury to the whole delightful scene. With interior work by Bob Bolling, colorist Barry Grossman, and letterer Bill Yoshida, this 1974 entry in the Archie Series is a charming snapshot of the gang at their most entertainingly well-fed.
