Mr. Weatherbee offers a day off of school for the student who will rake the leaves. Jughead piles the leaves and starts to burn them. The smoke goes straight into Mr. Weatherbee's office. Mr. Weatherbee thinks the office is on fire, so he sprays it with the firehose, ruining everything. He thinks Miss Grundy burned up in the fire. He finds out the smoke was from the leaves and Jughead says a wind blew away the rest of the leaves so he would take his day off.
