This 1971 Archie Series gem captures the groovy spirit of the era perfectly, with Betty and Veronica strutting their stuff in wildly decorated, psychedelic bell-bottom jeans — clearly the handiwork of a flamboyantly dressed artist at his "Original Jeans" stand, who proudly declares them "a work of art." A smitten Archie looks on with a dreamy sigh while a small dog trots past in the background, rounding out this wonderfully lively street-scene cover by penciler Dan DeCarlo and inker Rudy Lapick.
