Archie Is Mr. Justice #2

History

The series was developed through a collaborative writers'-room process — conducted via a shared document — in which all four issue writers (Tim Seeley, Amanda Deibert, a third writer for issue #3, and Blake Howard for issue #4) jointly mapped the overall mythology before each took sole authorship of one chapter. Issue #2 was assigned to writer Amanda Deibert and artist Brent Schoonover, with Glenn Whitmore on colors, Jack Morelli on letters, and Jamie Lee Rotante serving as editor. The mini-series was positioned by Archie Comics as a premium event title — the publisher's most serious foray into straightforward superhero storytelling, deliberately distinct from earlier campy Superteens-era fare and from the now-dormant Dark Circle Comics imprint.
