Archie Giant Series Magazine #473
In "Beach Day Blues," Archie’s usual mix of good intentions and self-interest takes a turn when he tries to help a girl he thinks might be rich—only to hear Jughead’s grim warning about the perils of pity and the unexpected burdens of romance. Written by Frank Doyle and illustrated by Bob Bolling, this 1978 classic captures the duo’s signature humor with a twist of social reflection, all under Bill Yoshida’s crisp lettering and a cover by Bob Bolling.
