The soccer field is where the trouble begins in this 1981 entry from Archie Comics Group — a coach in an orange jacket is laying down the law to his players, including Archie and teammates in Riverdale uniforms, demanding they "keep your eyes on the ball at ALL TIMES!" The catch, as one player readily admits, is standing right there on the pitch: a confident, smiling blonde in a striped athletic outfit who clearly has everyone's attention already.
