Archie and Me #65
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeA simple errand turns into cheerful chaos in this June 1974 installment of Archie and Me. The cover tells the whole story in two panels: a bespectacled authority figure hands Archie a "Student Council Meeting Thursday" sign with instructions to hang it where everyone will be sure to see it — and sure enough, the bottom panel shows Archie perched on a stepladder hammering away while a whole crowd of students, including several familiar Riverdale faces, piles through the doorway in a lively, crowded scene. It's the kind of warm, good-natured slapstick that made this series a reliable delight at 25 cents a copy.
