Victoria Wright, a technician that helps to maintain the giant engines underneath the Emerald City, is kidnapped by the Winged Monkeys of the Witch of the North. The Witch's conversation with Victoria persuades Victoria that something is amiss in the Emerald City, and when she returns she frees three prisoners and sets out on a mission.
