Arata: The Legend #7

Volume 7 of Yuu Watase's Arata: The Legend brings together a striking trio of characters on its cover — a teal-haired figure in ornate armor dominates the foreground, while a pink-haired companion in red wrappings leans in behind, and a long blue-haired figure draped in flowing white recedes into a swirling, luminous background. Watase's linework is in fine form here, weaving together vivid color and graceful movement that gives the whole image an almost mythic atmosphere. It's a compelling visual introduction to what this 2011 Shonen Sunday volume has to offer.
