Aquaman Classics #2501
In "Hoe Aquaman tot leven kwam!", Aquaman intervenes when the U.S. Navy plans to test atomic depth charges in a remote ocean zone, only to reveal a startling truth: that very location is home to the lost city of Atlantis. As he recounts his origin to Commander Haskel, he tells of his mother Atlanna, an outcast from Atlantis who found refuge with lighthouse keeper Tom Curry, and of the extraordinary gift he inherited as their son, Arthur. With the fate of a hidden civilization hanging in the balance, Aquaman urges the Navy to reconsider their plans.
In "De invasie van de Vuurtrollen Hoofdstuk 2 (Een uur van de ondergang)", Aquaman and Aqualad find themselves shrunk to tiny size after an attack by the Fire Trolls, plunging them into a perilous world where ordinary creatures like a scorpion, a lizard, and a pelican now loom as deadly threats. Stranded and vulnerable, they must navigate a suddenly hostile environment while searching for a way to restore themselves.
In "De invasie van de Vuurtrollen Hoofdstuk 3 (Het geheim van de Vuurtrollen)", Aquaman and Aqualad join forces with Quisp after the shrinking spell ends, racing to contain the fiery threat of the Fire Trolls before they can spread their destructive flames across the ocean floor. With time running out, the trio must outwit the creatures and seal their volcanic lair before the underwater world is consumed.
