Upon returning to Atlantis, Arthur and Mera are attacked by Corum Rath and the Deluge who want to overthrow Arthur as king. Arthur is surprised to find that Rath has support from the Atlantean Council of Elders, who feel that Arthur's loyalties lie with the surface world.
