The two girls, one physically super and the other mentally super, together win a competition sponsored by Bruce Wayne. The device merges MacBrute with a huge bear. The girls, in super identities, capture him, and are congratulated by Batman. With Sloane's grandfather no longer thwarting her, Sloane's mother can now earn a decent living. The two families become fast friends. Sloane becomes Gray Owl, a superhero partnered with Hummingbird.
