The third volume of this Fluide Glacial anthology collects Édika's work from 1991 to 1999, and the cover sets the tone perfectly: a hapless patient reclines in the dentist's chair, mouth wrenched absurdly wide open while a sneaker-clad foot yanks out a tooth — the dentist cheerfully announcing, "Ça y est, j'ai trouvé la racine!" Surrounding the chaotic extraction is a full array of dental equipment rendered in Édika's wonderfully exaggerated style.
