Michael Straczynski, Jotapê Martins, and Bernardo Santana, with art by Andy Kubert and inks by Joe Kubert. The issue includes coloring by Brad Anderson and lettering by Donizeti Amorim. The cover was penciled by Andy Kubert and inked by Joe Kubert.
In "Não existe mais almoço de graça," young Daniel uncovers Nite Owl’s secret identity and convinces him to train as a superhero—only to see the original Nite Owl retire, passing the mantle to his eager protégé. Years later, the new Nite Owl steps into a world of costumed heroes, forging alliances and joining forces with the uncompromising Rorschach.
