Lana is offered a 15-week on-the-road tour in a musical. Clara instigates an argument between Lana and Mickey and Lana takes off on the tour while Mickey gets a job selling hardware on the road. Coincidentally Mickey's boss is Mr. Spanner, who is also the money behind the musical. Weeks later, Spanner insists Mickey accompany him to a showing of his new musical.
