Pinky and the Brain have gone prehistoric — the cover by Neal Sternecky drops the scheming duo into a Stone Age setting, dressed in tiny caveman outfits and surrounded by a pair of hulking, bemused Neanderthals, while a purple vehicle packed with familiar Animaniacs characters smokes away in the background. Pinky cheerfully compliments Brain's outfit as "simply smashing," and Brain's exasperated reply says everything you need to know about their dynamic. With a story titled "Rewriting History," this 1995 DC/WB issue promises the kind of zany time-bending fun that made Animaniacs such a joy to watch — and read.
