Animaniacs #10

This 1996 DC Comics entry in the Animaniacs series leans into self-aware humor right from the cover, proudly billing itself a "Special Gratuitous Pinup Cover" — and then delivers exactly that with Hello Nurse striking a glamorous pose in her white nurse's uniform while Yakko and Wakko, perched on a swing and dripping paint, gawk admiringly from the upper left. Meanwhile, Dot stands at the lower right with a speech bubble summing up her siblings perfectly: "Boys. All instincts, no intellects." With an interior story titled "A Comic Book Is Born," this issue looks to be a witty, meta-tinged good time courtesy of writer Dana Kurtin and artist Neal Sternecky.
