Animal Antics #7
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis 1947 DC title delivers exactly the cheerful mischief its name promises — two cartoon squirrels are at the center of a snowy winter scene, one hauling a sign advertising "Walks Shoveled — 25¢" while the other gleefully splashes water from a yellow bucket, apparently melting the ice rather than doing any honest shoveling. Otto Feuer's cover art captures the slapstick spirit perfectly, with a cozy snow-covered cottage in the background and a bemused figure watching the chaos unfold from the doorway. Featuring Presto Pete and priced at just ten cents, Animal Antics #7 is a warm, funny slice of postwar funny-animal comics at their most delightful.
