Angels of Death #12
The final volume of *Angels of Death* arrives with a cover that feels like the weight of the entire series pressing down at once — a dark-haired, bandaged figure clutching a bloodstained scythe looms over a tearful blonde girl whose blue eyes shimmer with exhaustion and emotion, a single white feather drifting between them. Kudan Naduka's art captures something genuinely haunting here: tenderness and dread wound so tightly together they're almost indistinguishable. It's a fittingly intense closing image for the manga adaptation of Makoto Sanada's original story.
