Angel + Spike #9

Part of the "Ring of Fire" arc from BOOM! Studios, this ninth issue of Angel + Spike features a striking cover by Dan Panosian — a pale, silver-haired figure in a dark suit stepping out of a car door, his bloodied hands and cool, unsettling gaze giving the scene a noir-tinged menace. Bryan Edward Hill's script and Gleb Melnikov's interior art continue to push Joss Whedon's vampire mythology into gripping new territory, with Roman Titlov's moody colors setting exactly the right atmosphere throughout.
