Angel: Only Human #5

The concluding chapter of Angel: Only Human arrives with a cover by David Messina that's hard to look away from — a blue-haired woman in striking crimson armor holds a bladed weapon in the foreground, while a determined bald man grips a glowing object, both figures looming against a massive, shadowy skull that fills the background. Messina's linework and colors give the whole image a moody, dangerous atmosphere that feels right at home in the Angel universe. A fitting visual send-off for this 2009 IDW miniseries.
