This French-language Urban Comics edition — "Course contre la mort" — showcases a grinning, fanged young man in a denim jacket and sunglasses, all swagger and menace as he leans against what appears to be a vehicle, looking every bit the dangerous American predator. Scott Snyder and Rafael Albuquerque's series continues to blend mid-century cool with genuine vampire threat, and Jordi Bernet's cover captures that tension between charm and danger beautifully. A sharp 2013 package for French-speaking fans of the series.
