“Mein Amerika”
A 1992 Carlsen Comics German-language release, this oversized volume presents "Mein Amerika" with all interior art handled entirely by Jean-Claude Mézières — writer, artist, inker, and colorist in one remarkably unified vision. The cover, rendered by Loustal, unfortunately isn't available to preview here, but the creative pairing of Mézières and Loustal alone makes this an intriguing artifact of European comics at their most ambitious. At 16,80 DEM, it was a handsome showcase for Franco-Belgian comics artistry brought to German readers.
