Part three of "8 Years Later" arrives with one of the series' most unsettling images: Spider-Man, Mary Jane in her spider-suit, and their daughter Annie are locked behind iron bars in a carnival wagon rolling beneath a full moon, with grinning shadowy figures lurking on either side of them — and a sign reading "DO NOT FEED THE FREAKS" hung across the front. The Parker family's web-slinging life clearly hasn't gotten any easier eight years down the road, and this cover by Ryan Stegman captures that tension with a creepy, carnival-nightmare energy. Written by Jody Houser with art by Nick Roche and colors by Ruth Redmond, this Marvel Legacy issue is a compelling chapter in a series that dares to ask what Spider-Man's world looks like when family comes first.
