Drona stages a tournament to display the skills of his pupils. Karna appears and challenges Arjuna, unaware that they are brothers. After debating the worthiness of the challenge, the two do not fight. Drona calls in his favor and the warriors set out to attack Drupada. Drupada is defeated and captured but Drona gives him back half of his kingdom.
