Gandhari marries Dhritarashtra and they have one hundred sons, the Kauravas. Duryodhana, the eldest, becomes jealous of his cousins, the Pandavas. He cheats them of their land and exiles them. When they return, war breaks out. In the war all of the Kauravas are killed and Gandhari is left to mourn the fate of her sons.
