“Resurrection”

In "Resurrection," Alpha Flight faces a haunting confrontation when Pestilence takes control of Sasquatch’s body—using the form Snowbird once inhabited—while the team grapples with the aftermath of Scramble’s actions and the return of Walter’s soul. With June Brigman’s art capturing the emotional weight of the moment and Whilce Portacio’s inks adding depth to the chaos, the issue unfolds with a quiet dread as old ghosts rise and identities blur. The cover by June Brigman and Kevin Nowlan perfectly frames the eerie, otherworldly tone of this pivotal chapter.

Snowbird and her family are accepted into paradise. Shaman leaves. The Alphans find that Scramble has separated Roger from the Box armor and has given him legs. Pestilence possesses Sasquatch (the form Snowbird was in) and attacks. Smart Alec, possessed by the soul of Walter, joins the battle. He enters Box and helps Alpha Flight battle Pestilence. Pestilence is driven out of Sasquatch's body and Heather traps him in Shaman's medicine pouch. Walter jumps bodies again to his old Sasquatch form but, when he transforms back, he is female and looks just like Snowbird did.
