About this Collection

This 2023 collection from Acoustic Learning brings together the complete story arc of Alley Oop Meets Fang, featuring the classic caveman character Alley Oop as he encounters a formidable prehistoric creature. The volume reprints the full narrative in a single edition, offering readers a self-contained adventure from the series' initial release.

In "Alley Oop on Red Beard's Island (Conclusion)," the prehistoric hero faces one final challenge on a mysterious island, where a baby dinosaur becomes an unexpected companion. With help from Fang and a timely rescue mission led by a time-traveling cartoonist named Barry Nearside, Oop must navigate perilous traps and ancient rivals before returning to Moo—where a royal audience awaits. Written and illustrated by Dave Graue, with inks by Dave Olson and cover art by Graue and Olson, this 2023 adventure wraps up a wild journey with heart, humor, and a touch of time-traveling chaos.
