"Phantom Lady" by Gregory Sage follows the heroine as she is sent on a secret mission to Korea to investigate trouble in that region and uncover the mystery of the Monkey Cult. "Jo-Jo" by Stan Ford depicts the character facing off against skeletons and the Death Goddess of Gama in a supernatural adventure. A third story features characters named Benson and Jerry in a street-level conflict involving rocks and confrontation.
When the President sends Senator Knight on a secret mission to Korea, his daughter Sandra insists on tagging along—only to have their plane hijacked by agents of the mysterious Monkey Cult, a ruthless organization plotting to control the Korean government. Held prisoner alongside her father and threatened with execution by the cult's master swordsman Kim Lee, Sandra must find a way to transform into Phantom Lady and stop the conspiracy before the Senator is forced to betray his country.
Jo-Jo confronts a sinister threat when Ea, princess of Gama, spreads terror throughout the jungle claiming to be Death herself—demanding tribute and proving her deadly power with a poisoned nail. But the Congo King smells deception beneath the dark magic and begins unraveling her scheme, seeking out the old sorcerer Mano for knowledge that might save his people and expose the false goddess. With danger mounting and time running out, Jo-Jo races against the jungle itself to gather the ingredients for a desperate gambit.
Larry Benson learned early that precision beats brute strength—a lesson that would define his rise from scrappy kid fighting for his newspaper route to a feared gunman commanding respect in the underworld through deadly accuracy rather than raw power. When the heat from his recent jobs closes in and his associates turn on him, Benson must decide whether his legendary aim can get him out alive.
