All Star Western #61

This October/November 1951 issue of All Star Western delivers exactly what the banner promises — double-action dynamite — with a cover by Gil Kane and Bernard Sachs that crackles with energy: a warrior on a charging bison squares off against two looming, stylized silhouette figures in red and blue, bows drawn and arrows flying in every direction. The lead story, "Swamp Spirit of the Seminoles," pits Strong Bow against a supernatural threat, while the Trigger Twins add a second helping of frontier adventure. At a dime a copy, this was a genuinely satisfying package of DC Western action.
