All-New X-Men #19

The cover by Kevin Nowlan puts the young X-Men right in the thick of a fierce brawl — a red-suited Cyclops fires his optic blast, a green-clad Jean Grey channels her telekinesis, and a figure in a black-and-orange costume surges forward while armed, heavily built antagonists press in from all sides. High above the chaos, a silver figure soars alongside a great white bird against a stormy green sky, giving the whole image a striking sense of scale. Brandon Peterson and Israel Silva bring their storytelling chops to the interior of this 2014 Marvel series, making issue #19 a compelling addition to Bendis's run.
