The stark beauty of Jamal Campbell's cover says it all — beneath a blazing African sunset and the silhouettes of baobab trees, a figure in a tactical suit is ensnared by a massive tangle of dark roots, struggling and reaching upward in desperation. It's a quietly arresting image that sets a tone of nature turned threatening, perfectly suited to the globe-trotting Inhuman diplomacy this series is known for. Writer James Asmus and artist Stefano Caselli continue their run here, colored by Andres Mossa, and if this cover is any indication, issue #8 takes the team somewhere both visually striking and genuinely dangerous.
