All-New Guardians of the Galaxy #10

Star-Lord's helmet lies discarded in the foreground beside a scattered pistol and what appears to be Groot's uprooted form, all splayed across a cracked alien landscape littered with cracked fried eggs — while a radiant golden egg hovers at the center like a cosmic sun, flanked by two enormous, eerily serene fish-headed figures. It's a genuinely strange and arresting image, the kind of surreal tableau that Aaron Kuder and colorist Ive Svorcina pull off with real confidence. Writer Gerry Duggan's 2017 run continues to find unexpected, weird corners of the Marvel universe, and this cover alone makes a compelling case to flip it open.
