Alix Senator #8
In "La cité des poisons," Alix is sent to the hidden capital of Nabatène, Petra, still reeling from loss but bound by duty. As political intrigue thickens in the desert city, rival factions—led by the scheming minister Syllaios and the determined queen Hagirù—vie for influence, each willing to risk everything, from treasured wealth to deadly alliances, to shape the future. With Valérie Mangin's sharp storytelling and Thierry Démarez’s evocative art, this issue unfolds in a world where power is as lethal as the poisons whispered through the sand. The cover, by Démarez, captures the desert’s stark beauty and lurking danger.
