Aliens: What If...? #5

Carter Burke — one of cinema's most memorable corporate weasels — takes center stage in this fifth and final chapter of Marvel's Aliens: What If...?, where the cover by Phil Noto places him alone and desperate, clutching a makeshift flamethrower as two enormous Xenomorphs close in from either side. The tagline promises "The Final Fate of Carter Burke," and Noto's moody, cool-toned composition makes that threat feel very real. With writing by Leon Reiser, art by Guiu Vilanova, and colors by Yen Nitro, this is a fittingly tense send-off to an alternate-universe reimagining of the Aliens saga.
