Aliens vs. Predator #4

Dave Dorman's painted cover for this 1990 Dark Horse finale says it all — a heavily armed human woman stands her ground in front of a towering, dreadlocked Predator, both of them backed against a swirling corona of alien claws and darkness. The uneasy alliance between hunter and hunted makes for one of the most striking images of the series, with Alien biomechanical texture creeping across the background like a living nightmare.
