Aliens: Fire and Stone #1

Part of Dark Horse's sweeping 2014 "Fire and Stone" crossover event, this opening chapter sets an immediate tone of dread with a cover by David Palumbo that says everything without a single word. A lone figure — cornered, wide-eyed, pressed against the wall of a corridor — is flanked on both sides by the sleek, predatory forms of Xenomorphs closing in around her, the deep crimson of the hallway making escape feel impossible.
